Follow-up study of the Eskari experiment in comprehensive schools
This page provides information on how to conduct assessments in comprehensive schools as part of the two-year pre-school education pilot follow-up study. First-grade students in all experimental and control municipalities will participate in a skills assessment in autumn 2024. An important part of the pilot is a follow-up study of children, which will assess children’s linguistic and mathematical abilities, social skills, self-esteem and well-being in early childhood education and pre-school settings in autumn 2021—2023 and in the first grade of comprehensive school in autumn 2023—2024.
