TRILA

TRILA (Turku Research Institute for Learning Analytics) researches and develops digital teaching and learning analytics. Our activities are divided into three areas: research into digital teaching and learning analytics, the promotion of teaching and guidance materials, tools and practices, and societal impact in the use of digitality and analytics.

A concrete example of the research institute’s activities is the digital learning platform ViLLE, which is widely used at all levels of education in Finland, from primary schools to universities. Research shows that the use of the ViLLE learning platform is linked to better learning outcomes, more effective study guidance, and higher levels of academic achievement in several subjects.

TRILA collaborates with researcher and the educational field both in Finland and abroad. We invite everyone working in research and learning to participate in our TRILA collaboration. The collaboration offers researchers the opportunity to practical research and teachers the opportunity to utilize the latest assessment and support tools.
